In Gujarat, flood situation improves in flood-affected areas of Vadodara city.

Water has started receding in many areas. However, the worst affected Sama area of the city is still waterlogged.

The rainfall has also subsided and water level in Vishwamitri river passing through the city is also declining.

Markets have also opened in many areas following the improvement in flood situation.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured for all possible help for flood-affected Vadodara in Gujarat.

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani appraised Prime Minister about the situation and rescue and relief measures taken by the state government.

Mr.Rupani talked with Prime Minister Modi over the telephone this afternoon.
