Haflong : With the Prayer for his kind Intervention and necessary action to direct a stay order of Dr Nityanon Naiding’s service which was released from North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council, Daniel Langthasa, MAC, N C Hills Autonomous Council has written a letter to the Chief Minister of Assam on Friday.

Langthasa in his letter stated that on 16.08.2021, Dr. Nityanon Naiding, SDM & HO under O/O the Joint Director of Health Services, Dima Hasao was released from the disposal of NCHAC by the Principal Secretary, NCHAC as per order issued by the CEM of NCHAC Sri Debolal Gorlosa via DO Letter No. CEMINCHAC/Gen-Corress/2021-22/273, Dated – 08.08.21 the order stated that Dr. Nityanon Naiding’s services were no longer required by the council and that his service was reverted back to his parent department for his posting elsewhere.

MAC stated that it was very unfortunate decision as Dr. Nityanon Nalding was a specialist doctor and at present the only doctor who specialized in pin-hole Surgery in Dima Hasao district. He is a senior and very popular doctor in the district and his release order has come as a shock and worry for the people of Dima Hasao. He is a pioneer in introducing many new medical facilities and treatment in our district. He also happens to be one of the very few senior doctors from the Dimasa community and him being a local citizen, his services have proven to be very beneficial to the people of Dima Hasao as he can communicate with them in their language and he understands their problems very well. Sir, if such a doctor is released from the district it would be a great loss for district and its people.
