  • Honourable Chief Minister Awards Job Letters to Tribal Youth

    Surat : The honorable Chief Minister of the state of Gujarat, Mr. Narendra Modi handed over job offer letters to the tribal youth, on the 61st celebration of Republic Day, today at Surat. These candidates were successfully employed viathe job fairs organized by the Tribal Development Department (Govt. of Gujarat), in partnership with the Development Support Agency of Gujarat (D-SAG), under the ‘Vanbandhu Kalyan Yojna’.

    The candidates have been placed across various sectors with companies like Aditya Birla, Fairdeal Supplies Ltd., and US Pizza. TeamLease Services, India’s largest staffing company and Indian Institute of Job Training (IIJT), India’s fastest growing vocational training organizations commenced a series of district level job fairs in Gujarat earlier this year. Their centers in the tribal areas of South Gujarat – Mandvi, Vyara and Vandsa have been involved in skills development and employment of the tribal youth. Many of these candidates are now associated with global corporates and associations.

The Government of Gujarat has shown progressive thought in repositioning the conventional job fairs to target not only employment but also employability.”
