  • In Assam, BJP wins all the 26 seats in the council elections in Karbi Anglong PM Narendra Modi congratulates

    GUWAHATI: The result of the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council elections held in Assam was announced on Sunday. This election saw a huge victory of the BJP. In the result of the KAAC elections, the BJP has won all the 26 seats. At the same time, the Congress also failed to open its account. After the bjp’s landslide victory in the election results, the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the BJP in Assam and described the result of the KAAC election as historic and said that the people of Assam are trusting the party. PM Modi has thanked the real people.

    Prime Minister Modi said, “The election results of Karbi Anglong are historic. I thank the people for constantly maintaining faith in the BJP and want to assure the people that we will continue to work in the development of Assam. At the same time, he also cheered the BJP workers in Assam and said, “The efforts made by the BJP workers are commendable. I also want to congratulate them for this victory. Earlier, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had described the victory as a big victory in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Sabka Saath Sabka Vishwas. Himanta Biswa Sarma said that For the second time in a row, the QAAC elections have got the historic mandate of the Assam BJP, for which I bow to the people of Karbi Anglong. Apart from this, former Assam Chief Minister and current Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has also congratulated bjp workers on the results of karbi anglong elections.

    Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal said, “I thank BJP national president JP Nadda, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa and BJP Assam state president Bhabesh Kalita for their leadership. Thank you to all the workers and people for their hard work and their immense love and support.The BJP had contested all the 26 seats while the Congress had fielded its candidates in 24 seats. Aap had contested in 10 and CPI (Male) in 15. Established under the Sixth Schedule of the Constitution, the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council consists of 30 members, of which 26 are elected while the remaining four members are nominated.
