Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Rajiv Kumar today said, infusion of 70 thousand crore 
rupees in the public sector banks proposed in the budget is aimed at giving impetus to growth.
Talking exclusively to AIR News, Mr Kumar said, the role of banking is important in making the country a 5 trillion dollar economy.
People who do not have PAN, can now file their income tax return, by simply quoting their Aadhaar number. Talking to AIR News Revenue Secretary, Ajay Bhushan Pandey said that over 120 crore people have Aadhaar card in the country.
