In Jammu and Kashmir, a policeman was today killed in a terror attack on a police station in Shopian district. A Police spokesman said, terrorists fired indiscriminately on the station and the attack was repulsed by jawans.

In the incident, a policeman was wounded and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, where he succumbed to injuries. Police have registered a case and an investigation has been initiated into the matter.
