Haflong : Former Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Guwahati Shri Jayant Sing IPS has taken the charge of Dima Hasao Superintendent of Police on Tuesday.

Shri Sing had served here in Dima Hasao as Probationer and also as SDPO Maibang and gained popularity among the populace for his amiable gesture and keen interest in maintaining peace and tranquility in the district with the active cooperation of people.

Talking to media Shri Sing said he is happy to get the opportunity to serve here in this beautiful district among the beautiful people.

He will try his best to regain people’s trust towards the police which was disturbed recently and to extend full cooperation to the people of the district to get justice. He also assured that there will be no lapse in the process of investigation who so ever involve in this incident.
