J&K: 16 people killed as bus plunges into Chenab river in Kishtwar district

In Jammu and Kashmir, 16 people were killed while 17 others injured as a minibus plunged into the Chenab river in Kishtwar district on Friday.
Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana told that in the rescue operation carried out, 13 bodies were recovered while 3 of the seriously injured succumbed to injuries on the way to the hospital. 11 critically injured persons were airlifted to GMC Hospital in Jammu.
Police said the minibus which was on its way from Keshwan to Kishtwar on Kuriya- Keshwan link road rolled down into the Chenab river at Thakrai Friday morning.
