Haflong  :The joint meeting of District Administration, APDCL, M/s N. K Power & Infrastructure Pvt Ltd and N.C Hills Indigenous Students Forum was held in the office chamber of Deputy Commissioner Haflong on Monday. The President/Secretary of ZSU (A), HSA and KSO were also present in the meeting.

In the meeting discussion were made regarding village Electrification of Mahur Block (Jinam Valley,  Borail,  Laisong Etc).  The meeting have decided that a joint Team of District Administration, ISF and M/s N.K Power & Infrastructure Pvt Ltd will visit the area on 16th November for assessment and finalization of the alignment of 11 KV line as the N K power Pvt Ltd will start to lay the line in the Jinam valley area and other un-electrified villages. The N.C Hills Indigenous Students Forum ensured that ISF and Local people will extend their full co-operation for transportation of materials and installation of the line. The NCHISF will also approach CGM (RE) APDCL for conversion of Solar- Power village to grid line.
