Five people were killed after a chartered plane crashed in the west part of Kenya.

Related county’s Police Commander Edward Mwamburi said, there were five occupants on board, all of whom died on spot.

He said, the small plane was heading from Maasai Mara nature reserve to Lodwar, near Lake Turkana when the incident took place. The police chief said, emergency services have been sent to the scene.

The cause of the crash is still unclear. Investigators have started the probe to ascertain the cause of the crash.
