Haflong : After formally assuming the office of the Chief Executive Member the 12^th North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council (NCHAC) for the 2^nd time, Sri  Debolal Gorlosa assured to give top most priority road connectivity in a .press briefing held at NCHAC conference Hall on Wednesday

Addressing the media, CEM Gorlosa enthusiastically said, “There are many works that are to be done for this district and roads will be of top most priority, because good roads will bring with it a lot of development and prosperity in our district.” Thanking the finance minister and the chief minister of Assam, Gorlosa is positive that with the budget allotment for Dima Hasao for the financial year 2019-20 in the recently budget session held in Assam Assembly, along with other issues the pertaining water crisis faced in Haflong town will be solved permanently.

The long pending need of school teachers’ quarters will be built in many interior villages to encourage teachers’ attendance in posting areas. It may be noted that absence of proper amenities including lack of residential facility in interior villages has been a major problem for the teachers on duty in those localities.

Speaking to the media persons Debolal Gorlosa was confident that with his team of members in the council he would surely bring a lot of changes for good within his term as a chief executive member of NCHAC.
