Amidst tight security cover, the famous Ayyappa temple in Sabarimala would be opened today evening at 5 for the two months long annual pilgrimage season. Foreseeing protest from devotees opposing the Supreme court verdict allowing the entry for women of all ages into the temple, a seven-day prohibitory order has came into effect from yesterday night at four places in and around the temple premises.
