US Secretary of State John Kerry has said that there are evidences that Sarin nerve gas was used in a deadly chemical attack in Syria last week. In a series of TV appearences yesterday, he said that the blood and hair samples gathered after the August 21 attack in east Damascus, had tested positive for signatures of Sarin. The US Secretary of State sought to build the case for a military strike against Syrian regime as he urged US lawmakers to support President Obama’s decision to go ahead with limited military strikes against the Syrian regime. US Congress will debate the move on September 9. Kerry declined to say whether Obama would go ahead with military action if Congress rejects the President’s request, but he stressed that Obama had the right to take action without their consent.
