Kokrajhar  A rebel belonging to Kamtapur Liberation Organisation(KLO) was apprehended from Bandercherra area under Salakati police station in Kokrajhar district in a joint operation by Army and Kokrajhar Police.

Army sources said joint operation was conducted by Kokrajhar Army and Kokrajhar in which one hard core KLO rebel identified as Manful Barman was apprehended. The arrested rebel is a Myanmar trained 20th batch cadre of the KLO extremist group and was responsible of multiple extortion activities in West Bengal and Kokrajhar districts.

One country made pistol and live ammunition was recovered along with personal belongings.
