  • Madhya Pradesh: 5 day session of newly-elected state Assembly to begin in Bhopal on 7th January

    In Madhya Pradesh, a five-day session of the newly-elected state Assembly will begin here in Bhopal on 7th January. The MLAs would be administered oath of office on January 7 and 8, said an official of the Assembly secretariat. Election for the Speaker’s post will take place on January 8, while the Governor will also address the house on the same day.

    Meanwhile, the Chief Minister has not allocated the ministries till now due to continuous power struggle between various factions of the party. Sources claimed that allocations of ministries can be done today

    Kamal Nath, who took oath as 18th chief minister of Madhya Pradesh on December 17, expanded the ministry on December 25 by inducting 28 ministers.
