Kokrajhar : A minor boy age about 4-5 years old was found abandoned at Kokrajhar railway station in Kokajhar. The child, who identified himself as Mafidul was found by Railway police on 23 July Tuesday last along the railway track near Kokrajhar railway station. The child was later handed over to Child Line Kokrajhar.

The minor boy was today produced before Child Welfare Committee, Kokrajhar.

Chairperson of Child Welfare Committee, Kokrajhar Malati Rani Narzary said the child will be sent to shelter home. She said the guardian can contact the Kokrajhar police or  Child Welfare Committee, Kokrajhar or Child Line Kokrajhar.
