New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed the concluding session of Governors Conference at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Twenty-three Governors and two Lieutenant Governors participated in the two day Conference. Vice-President Hamid Ansari and Union Ministers Rajnath Singh and Venkaiah Naidu among others were present on the occasion.

Yesterday, addressing the conference President Pranab Mukherjee had asked the Governors to maintain sanctity of the Constitution. He said the Constitution is an enduring document that reflects aspirations and the avenues to achieve them, in an inclusive manner. He also asked them to play a persuasive role in improving quality of education in the country.
