Dr. Ashok Dalwai, CEO of National Rainfed Area Authority has welcomed the Central Government’s move to allow private APMCs. He said that this will promote competition between private and Government APMCs, fetch better prices to farmers and help double their income.

Speaking to our Raichur Correspondent, Dr.Dalwai who headed the high level Committee on doubling farmers’ income, said that competition between private and Government APMCs will benefit the farmers.
