Centre asks states to step up surveillance and monitoring of birds for any sign of avian influenza

Haflong : Chief Executive Member, North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council Sri Debolal Gorlosa distributed appointment letters to 96 newly appointed Upper Primary Teachers in Elementary Education department.
Congratulating the teachers during the ceremony CEM Gorlosa appreciated them for choosing this noble profession of shaping the future of the country. Speaking highly of the profession, he said, “My heartfelt wishes for a bright future to all the newly appointed assistant teachers and subject teachers. The energy of all the talented and creative teachers who are selected by a fair and transparent recruitment process will help in bringing changes in the education system of our district”.
Out of 159 numbers of sanctioned posts, 96 numbers were appointed which includes Assistant Teachers, Assamese Language Teacher, Science Teacher and Hindi Teacher.
Distribution ceremony was graced by NCHAC, Chairperson, Ranu Langthasa, Education (Elementary & Higher) EM, Nandita Gorlosa, Medical EM Samuel Changsan, other Members of Autonomous Council, Principal Secretary, NCHAC and other officials.
