NEF Railway’s RPF contributes in fighting COVID – 19 pandemic

The Railway Protection Force, RPF of the North East Frontier Railway has contributed in fighting the COVID – 19 pandemic and also providing help to the needy persons as frontline warrior.
Official sources in Guwahati said that 1.5 lakh food packets were distributed to the needy villagers and downtrodden people by them.
Besides, 642 Shramik and 16 pairs of special trains were effectively escorted by RPF personnel during the last few months.
On the other hand, due to relentless vigilance RPF managed to rescue 135 destitute children in North East.
