Former Karnataka legislator Nirmal Kumar has been appointed as party in charge of Puducherry.

Talking to media persons in Puducherry, BJP state president V Saminathan MLA said today that the appointment of Mr Kumar by BJP president J P Nadda will strenghten the party in the Union Territory.

He said, the BJP in Puducherry will face the next assembly election in the UT with the slogan one party government both at the Centre and state.
