Haflong  :The oath taking ceremony of newly elected members of 12^th N C Hills Autonomous Council will be held at Cultural Institute Hall on February 4^th 2019.

Dated Dispur, the 2d February, 2019 notified that in pursuance of Rule 24 and Rule 32 of the Assam Autonomous Districts (Constitution of District Council) Rules, 1951, the Hon’ ble Governor of Assam is pleased to authorize the Deputy Commissioner, Dima Hasao District to preside over the First Meeting of the North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council for Oath or affirmation and election of the Chairman of North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council.

Oath taking Ceremony of all the 28 members would be held at 12 noon on February 4rth at Cultural Institute Hall, and the Notice for Election of Chairman would be at 1 pm on 4rth. The last Date for filing of Nomination for Chairman Election is February 5 at 12 noon and Election for the post of Chairman would be held on 6.2.19 at 12 noon.
