In Jammu and Kashmir, Senior leader Mufti Mohammad Sayeed says party is actively exploring possibilities of government formation with BJP but asserted that party will not compromise on its core values.

PDP patron Sayeed has said talks with BJP over government formation are in advanced stage.

Talking to media, Sayeed said party will not compromise on core issues in its dialogue with BJP.

Meanwhile, Mehbooba Mufti has been re-elected as the President of Peoples Democratic Party for three years after she won the elections unopposed.

PDP has emerged as the largest party in the state after winning 28 seats.
