Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed election rallies in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu on Saturday.
Addressing a rally in Mangaluru, Mr Modi said this election is not about choosing a prime minister or a government, but how a new India should be in the 21st century.
He appealed to voters to strengthen his hands for a strong government. Mr Modi stressed that transperancy, honesty and sab ka saath sab ka vikas has been the hallmark of his Government.
He assured the gathering that a separate ministry will be created for the welfare of fishermen and Matsa Sampada yojana will extend all possible help for fishermen community.
Earlier, speaking at a rally at Theni in Tamil Nadu, Mr Modi said he is committed to having a new India where all could live in security, prosperity and dignity.
He said, India is making a mark in the world by way of rapid progress. The Prime Minister also addressed a rally in Ramanathapuram.
