  • PM Modi interacts with beneficiaries of govt schemes in Jaipur

    Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said, his government’s aim is inclusive and all-round development.
    Interacting with a gathering of beneficiaries of flagship schemes of the Centre and Rajasthan government in Jaipur today, Mr Modi said, his government is working with the motto of Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas to spread development across India.
    He said that in order to make every citizen’s life easy and safe, the government has brought various schemes. He said, his government will continue its fight against corruption.
    Mr Modi said, his government’s efforts are aimed at building a New India. Mr Modi said, a recent international report shows that more than 5 crore people have been pulled out of poverty in the last 2 years.
    The Prime Minister said, Centre is working towards doubling the farmers’ income by 2022. The Prime Minister said, the government has fulfilled its promise of increasing the minimum support price of farm produce by 1.5 times.
    He said that so far 14.5 crore farmers have received soil health card across India while in Rajasthan, over 90 lakh farmers have received soil health card. He said, the Central Government and the Rajasthan Government are working together for the progress of the state.
    The Prime Minister said, Initiatives like Mudra and Ujjwala are benefitting the people of Rajasthan. He said, under the Ujjwala Yojana, more than 33 lakh mothers and sisters were given gas connection for free in the state.
    Mr Modi said, under the Swachh Bharat Mission, over 80 lakh toilets were built in Rajasthan. He said, more than 2.5 crore jan dhan accounts were opened in the state and over 6 lakh poor people were given houses. He said, Rajasthan is taking ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ Andolan to new heights.
    The Prime Minister praised the Rajasthan government and said development works never get stuck in the state. He also praised the people of Rajasthan for their hard work in adverse climatic conditions.
    Mr Modi said there are some people who will never appreciate good work done, be it by the Centre or by the Vasundhara Raje government in Rajasthan, but everyone must see the happiness of the beneficiaries present in Jaipur. Mr Modi appealed to reaffirm the commitment of creating a developed Rajasthan, to play a pivotal role in the building of a New India.
    Launching an attack on the Congress, Prime Minister said, the party is now being called a “bail gaadi” as several of its leaders are out on bail.
    Prime Minister was shown an Audio Visual Presentation on the experiences of Beneficiaries of different flagship schemes including Ujjawala Yojna, MUDRA Yojna and State’s Mukhyamantri Jal Swavlamban Abhiyan. The beneficiaries expressed satisfaction with the schemes launched to serve them.
    The Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone for thirteen urban infrastructure projects worth over 21 hundred crore rupees.
    These are, elevated Road Projects in Ajmer, water supply and sewerage projects in Ajmer, Bhilwara, Bikaner, Hanumangarh, Sikar and Mount Abu, And different projects under Pradhan Mantri Aawas Yojna in Bundi, Bikaner and Ajmer Districts.
    Rajasthan Governor Kalyan Singh, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, Union Ministers including Rajyavardhan Rathore and Arjun Ram Meghwal were also present on this occasion.
