New Delhi : President Ramnath Kovind will reach Tripura tomorrow on a two-day visit. During his visit, Mr Kovind will go to Udaipur of Gomati district and inaugurate National Highway from Matabari to Subroom.

The President will also lay the foundation stone for the re-development of Matabari Temple Complex at Tripurasundari temple, which is regarded as one of the 51 Shaktipiths of the country.

During his visit, the President will also declare the ‘Queen’ variety of pineapple as the state fruit. The declaration of state fruit will be made at a civic reception organised by the state government in honour of the President tomorrow evening at Agartala.
