President Ram Nath Kovind and Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu have greeted the people on the eve of Christmas.

In his message, the President said, Jesus Christ symbolised peace, harmony and hope. Mr Kovind said, Christmas is a celebration of human values that nurture mutual caring and sharing and transform life itself into a festival.

The Vice President said, Christmas is a joyous occasion that reminds people of the eternal values of compassion and forgiveness, love and empathy.

Mr Naidu said, people need to constantly keep these values as the guiding stars to lead healthy, happy and fulfilled lives.
