Chemical and Fertilizers Minister D. V. Sadananda Gowda has complemented National Pharmaceuticals Pricing Authority, NPPA for working tirelessly to ensure availability of life-saving drugs at reasonable prices consistently to all citizens.

On the foundation day of NPPA, Mr Gowda said, it has played a crucial role during COVID-19 pandemic. The Minister said that NPPA also prevented any shortage of medicines during COVID-19 and resolved Public Grievances efficiently through an active Control Room.

Minister of State for Chemicals Mansukh Mandaviya said, 29th August is an important day for India as NPPA was founded to control the prices of essential and life saving medicines. Mr Mandaviya said, NPPA is working tirelessly with the goal of a Healthy Nation as envisioned by the Prime Minister and is helping to save crores of rupees of common men.
