Chairman of Saradha Group company Sudipta Sen has accused two Trinamool Congress MPs of ‘extortion’ and ‘blackmail’ and blamed them for his downfall.
Sen, in a letter to CBI, threatened to commit suicide for his predicament as he feared he would not be able to refund the public money.
Meanwhile West Bengal BJP demanded a CBI probe. Reacting to the situation West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee promised to take action against anyone found guilty.
She also announced a 500 crore rupees relief fund for the duped investors. Meanwhile, all the three accused including Sudipto Sen had been flown to Kolkata on Wednesday night. They will be produced in a Kolkata court on Thursday.
