Mangaldai : Lack of adequate service of modern diagnostics in the public sector against the growing demand of improved diagnostics care in the district of Darrang, the opening of new modern set up of “Tahbildar Clinical Laboratory “ which has already earned reputation of quality medical service over the last one decade, that too with some special announcements of financial benefits for patients suffering from diseases like cancer , Tuberculosis (TB) , Hemophilia etc has brought a ray of hope for the economically backward families of district . Dr Pabitra Kr Tahbildat , a renowned , Pathologist and Managing Director of the clinical laboratory while talking to this reporter has made this announcement that there will be special rebate on rate of service cost for all patients irrespective of income groups suffering from Cancer , TB and Hemophilia besides the existing rebate provision of twenty percent for BPL . “ We are offering special rebate of flat twenty percent for BPL families and this time we are covering all the Cancer , TB and Hemophilia patients with special rebate offer .” , Dr Tahbildar said . The Chief Pathologist of the diagnostics centre also assured zero medical negligence and one hundred percent accuracy in the result . “ We can’t rule out medical error but we assure our clients zero negligence and will never compromise with the accuracy of result under an advanced technology based set up .”,he included.
The laboratory in a newly built infrastructure at ward no-5 of Mangaldai town has been inaugurated by Mangaldai Legislator Gurujyoti Das on Sunday evening ceremonially in presence of many prominent personalities including Director of Medical Education, Assam, Dr Anup Kr Barman , former Cabinet Minister Basanta Das , senior most medical practitioner of the district Dr Sirajul Haque , eminent litterateur and recipient of ‘Geeti Kabi’ award Professor Idris Ali , distinguished writer and Surgeon Dr Rama Bora, senior academicians Dr Jadav Nath , Ramani Mohan Saharia, veteran social activist Aroon Baruah among others .
