Kokrajhar : A total 92 nos. of matric and Higher Secondary examination successful students belonging to Santal community were felicitated at a felicitation programme organized by All Santal Students Union (ASSU) Central Committee in collaboration with Kokrajhar District Police at Don Bosco Vocational Training Centre, Amguri in Kokrajhar.

 

Kokrajhar Superintendent of Police Rajen Singh, Kokrajhar Deputy SP Prakash Medhi. All Santali Students Union president Simon Kisku, Organizing Secretary Durga Soren,  Vice Principal of Amguri Don Bosco School Fr. Ignatious Gari, Manager, Don Bosco Vocational Training Centre Francise Charmako, Headmaster of Karigaon High School Anil Basumatary are among those who attended the function.

 

The successful students were given a packet of gift containing a dictionary and one wall clock by Kokrajhar District Police. The students securing highest marks in H.S.L.C. and H.S.S.L.C. examination have also been awarded cash reward by Kokrajhar District Police.
