Guwahati : The hearing for the petition filed against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bharatiya Janata Party national president Amit Shah by Silchar Congress MP Susmita Dev will be held tomorrow in the Supreme Court. The Petition was filed against PM Narendra Modi and Amit Shah following the statement made by the national president alleging that both have violated the guideline of election set by the Election Commission of India. The hearing will be heard by Chief Justice of India, Ranjan Gogoi. Susmita Dev has also alleged that despite registering complaint, the ECI has not taken any steps against them. It may be mentioned that the petition among other things refers to the PM’s statements regarding the armed forces during campaigning and alleged hate speeches. The Congress, the petition said, has filed 40 such complaints with the EC. But the EC hasn’t taken any decision on any of its complaints.
