Nagaon : The 4th Convocation of Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Viswavidyalaya (MSSV) will be held on February 2 next at University auditorium of Guwahati campus, Rupnagar. Chife Minister Sarbananda Sonowal will grace the occasion as the chife guest and Prof. Kiran Hazarika, member of University Grants Commission will grace the occasion as the guest of honour. In press release, it is stated that a total of 13 Ph.D. candidates, 23 M.Phil. candidates and 357 post graduate students will achieve their degrees in the convocation.

Dr Hitesh Deka, vice-chancellor of MSSV, will address all the dignitaries and also present a report on the university. Chancellor of the University, Kamalakanta Gogoi will preside the convocation ceremony. Dr. Mrinal Kr Borah, Registrar of the university asked for cooperation and well wishes from the students, parents, all the members of University executive bodies, SSESEDT , all the devotees of Srimanta Sankaradeva Sangha and the people of the state, a release added.
