The budget session of Parliament resumes Monday after recess as important bills slated to be taken during the session.

The budget session of Parliament resumes today after recess and the two houses are slated to take up many important bills and legislations including the Land Acquisition Bill.

Rajya Sabha chairman Hamid Ansari today convened an all party meeting of Rajya Sabha and expressed upon the need to properly utilise the hours of the session.

The issue of live telecast of sessions also came up during the all party meet.

Many leaders felt the practice should be discontinued in the interest of sanctity of parliamentary proceedings.

Some leaders also raised the issue of rigorously invoking provisions against misconduct inside the house.
