Guwahati :In a joint operation carried out by forest and police officials on Saturday night, three notorious poachers have been nabbed in Orang National Park. The three poachers have been identified as Md. Nurjamal Rahman, Md. Sadikul Islam and Md. Niyamat Ali of Bacha Simolu, Sonitpur district. It may be stated that the three of them had entered earlier entered the park along with four other men in the month of June to hunt down rhinos. But officials were able to avert it and successfully arrested two of them while the other five managed to escape. Finally the forest and police officials nabbed three of the absconders whereas the search for remaining two is on.
