  • Cambridge English Language Assessment, a part of the University of Cambridge, UK has chosen Flinnt, the fastest growing communication & sharing app for educational institutions to create its mlearning network for Language Teachers across India. flinntCambridge English is working with more than 500 schools and institutions of higher education across India and the Cambridge English India Network on Flinnt is an endeavor to connect the educators from across these institutions in a knowledge sharing network.

    English teachers from schools as well as colleges are members of this communication and sharing app where they can connect with each other, share their ideas and opinions. Already more than 700 educators from these institutions have joined the network and are accessing the resources curated by Cambridge English and they are also sharing their own teaching learning practices. Some of these educators are working in institutions that have already adopted Flinnt for their students and in these cases, the educators are able to easily forward the learning resources to the students preparing for the Qualifications offered by Cambridge English.

    The app is another step to enable educators to leverage technology to have access to curated resources and a qualified peer network.     As the use of mobile technology is increasing, Cambridge English India Network on Flinnt offers  teachers the opportunity to network with like minded peers through their mobile devices to view,  share resources as well as explore the repository of resources offered by  Cambridge English that can help in their classroom activities.

    Cambridge English Language Assessment is launching a competition for English  Teachers on September 5 on the occasion of Teachers day. To be accessed through the application both online or though mobile, the competition will target the teachers of Schools and Higher Education segment. Teachers are invited to register for the competition at www.cambridgeenglish.org/in/teachers-competition  that will provide them access to the online/mobile network platform. The entries for the competition have to be submitted only through this application. The competition involves the teacher to develop an innovative and original classroom activity for any one of the four skills Listening, Reading, Writing & Speaking.

    The entry submission window for the competition will be open from 19 October to 31 October, 2015. There will be scheduled webinars that are aimed at providing tips on how to prepare the entry submissions and how to access and use the Cambridge English India Network. The submitted activities will be available for viewing on the application and the participants can also like or comment on the  same. The activity which receives the highest number of likes and the most active participant will also be awarded in addition to the winning entries. The results for the competition will be announced on 15th November, 2015.
