Vital Road communication between Lanka-Garampani restored

Haflong : Road communication between Lanka-Umrangsu-Garampani, which was disrupted due to collapse of bridges over Lanku and Langri Rivers on 27.10.19 due to heavy rain was restored today.
Road communication between Lanka-Umrangsu-Garampani remained disrupted for several causing utter inconvenience to the people as well as industries like Dalmiya Cement factories etc.
With the initiative of Chief Executive Member, N C Hills Autonomous Council Debolal Gorlosa and authorities of Dalimiya Cement the restoration work was carried out day and night to restore the vital road communication.
Meanwhile Executive Member, Golonjo Thaosen, MACs Ratan Jarambusa and Nojit Kemprai visited the site to take the stock of restoration work. The restoration of the road communication was witnessed by the team of NCHAC today.
Following the restoration of communication, the people expressed sigh of relief as the disruption of vital communication like Lanka-Umrangsu-Garampani was major problem for the people entire Umrangsu and Lanka.
