Kokrajhar: The vote on accounts budget, 2020 of the Bodoland Territorial Council Legislative Assembly start from today at BTC Assembly in Kokrajhar. Today’s budget is stated to be the last session of the present government in the Bodoland Territorial Council as the Council election is scheduled in April-May 2020.

A total Rs. 56,904.407 lakhs of estimate of expenditure for vote on account required for the months of April to July 2020 was presented by Doneswar Goyary, in-charge executive member in the House. The chief of BTC Hagrama Mohilary and deputy chief Kampa Borgoyary were both absent in the House.

The session started with a question hour where issues mainly related to development, education, land revenue, social welfare were raised by members of the opposition.

The Speaker Tridip Daimary also announced the Report of Business Advisory committee for the Vote on Accounts budget, 2020 of the Bodoland Territorial Council Legislative Assembly.
