Voting is underway for by-polls to Ramgarh Assembly constituency in Rajasthan and Jind Assembly seat in Haryana. The election to the Ramgarh seat was withheld during the Assembly elections in the state last month following the death of BSP candidate Laxman Singh.

The bypoll in Jindh has been necessitated following the death of Indian National Lok Dal MLA Hari Chand Middha in August last year.
