World Population Day is being observed today. This day is observed on the 11th of July every year. In a tweet, Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan said, family planning is not only the bedrock for attaining Sustainable Development, but is also instrumental in reducing poverty and achieving higher living standards.

Dr. Harsh Vardhan today chaired a virtual meeting on the occasion of World Population Day organized by the Health Ministry.
