Jorhat : Along with other namghars and holy places of the state in Dhekiakhowa Bornamghar the 423 death anniversary of Sri Sri Madhabdev was celebrated with great enthusiastic along with holy spirit in presence of several hundreds of bhaktas, pilgrims coming from far and near and attended a day long special prayer session that was held on the special occasion of the great saint who established the Bornamghar during 1450 AD, said Prabita Kalita, the president of Namghar management committee here today.

The special prayer session started right at mooring 9 am for next three consecutive phases at 11 am, at 4pm and 7pm. The prayer was led by Bab Kalita and Umesh Dutta . Moreover as the holy month of Bhado started on SAunday last the Dhekiakhowa Bornamghar management committee had arranged all possibilities to welcome the bhaktas even during the days of the tithis like Sankardev Tithi, Janmastami. This year several NRI Assamese family residing in overseas states has confirmed their visit and to attend special prayer session during the holy month of Bhado, said Kalita, the president of Management committee.
