A total of 481 Indian evacuees from Milan and Rome in Italy have been quarantined at the ITBP Chhawla Facility, New Delhi. No fresh symptoms of COVID-19 have been seen till now. These two batches of 218 and 263 persons reached India on 15th and 22nd of this month.  Daily monitoring and checkups will be undertaken by the ITBP medicos. The expected quarantine period is a minimum of 14 days.

Emergency arrangements have also been made including isolation beds and Ambulances.
