Kokrajhar : The body of a six-year-old boy from Mahajanpara in Kokrajhar, who was reportedly drowned at Gaurang river yesterday was recovered at Alengmari area in Dhubri district today morning.

As per reports, the boy identified as Abul Kasem had gone to the river Gourang for a bath with his mother when he was reportedly drowned on Tuesday afternoon.

A massive search operation was conducted by Kokrajhar and Dhubri SDRF team since yesterday and the body was recovered today morning hour.

The body has been sent for postmortem.
