Awareness on “Increasing Reading Habits in the Society- cum-Career counselling” held

Kokrajhar : An awareness program on “Increasing Reading Habits in the Society- cum-Career counselling” was organised by The People’s Aid in collaboration with CHD, Library Services, BTC at Borobazar community in Chirang district.

Career Mentor and founder of North East Youth Foundation Ranjan K Baruah, Librarian of Bodoland Dr

Sangrang Brahma, Reference Librarian of Director of Library Services, BTC Bichitra Narzary attended the program as resource persons and spoke on the ocassion.

Subilal Daimary, Vice-President of Bijni Anchalik Committee ABSU inaugurated the programme where over 250 students from different schools and colleges of Borobazar area participated.

The program was presided over by Nava Kumar Basumatary, President of The People’s Aid as Chairperson and as a host organisation.

Principal of Borobazar Degree College Dananjay Basumatary, members of the Bijni Anchalik Committee ABSU, Maneswar Daimary and executive members of The People’s Aid were also present.The program concluded with vote of thanks by Dr Chithum Basumatary, Secretary of The People’s Aid.
