The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) will recruit 15,000 more personnel from all over the country beginning early next year, a senior official said on Friday.

“We have already recruited 26,000 personnel in the last two years. Now, we will be recruiting 15,000 more personnel. The recruitment would begin from March next year and the announcement for the same will be made by this December end,” CISF Director General N R Das told reporters in Hyderabad.

Once the new recruitment is done the CISF personnel strength will increase from 1.26 lakh to over 1.4 lakh, he said after reviewing the Passing Out Parade of the 5th batch of Assistant Commandants at the National Industrial Security Academy (NISA) at Hakimpet here.
