Kajalgaon (Chirang):Huge cache of ammunition and high explosive believed to be belonging to militan group NDFB(S) were unearthed from Panbari Reserve Forest in Assam Chirang district today.

 On specific input of presence of huge amount of Ammunition and explosive launched a search operation was conducted by the Chirang Army unit of Red Horns Division along with Chirang Police along the Sukanteklai River near the Indo Bhutan international border and unearthed  the cache believed to be belonging to militant Organisation NDFB(S).

After toiling search which involved deep search metal detector located a suspected spot. On digging by Army and police personal a hidden cache of ammunition and explosive was found. The cache included large amount of ammunition, detonators and grenades.    This is the second major success of Army and Police in unearthing hidden arms and ammunition in recent past. Last month a huge cache of arms, ammunition and explosive was found in Panbari Reserve Forest.
