In Assam, five killed and three injured in an accident involving YouTUbers in Drang district

Guwahati : In Assam, five persons including a 13-year-old minor girl were killed and three others injured in a road accident in Darang district late on Sunday night. According to police, five people died on the spot and three others were injured in the accident. The incident took place on NH-15 in Besimari area of Dalgaon police station area of Darang district where a Maruti Swift Desire car and a truck collided head-on. A police officer from Darang district said that a car was coming towards Mangaldoi from Tezpur and the truck was coming from the opposite direction. The two collided fiercely. The deceased have been identified as Faridul Islam, Azad Ali, Ibrahim Ali, Manjuwara Begum and Sania Akhtar and were from Darang district.
All these YouTubers are mentioned.According to locals, the group had gone to Rovata area of Darang district for a video shoot of a YouTube channel of Sania Akhtar and the incident took place in Besimari area when the group was returning. The injured were first treated at Mangaldai Civil Hospital and later shifted to Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). Where doctors declared him brought dead. An accident also took place near Gomti Gurudwara Earlier on Sunday, a woman on tape fell on the road and died after being hit by a tractor trolley coming from a head in a tempo near Gomti Gurudwara on Assam Highway. Thana Gajraula Kala resident Riaz said he had left home on Saturday evening to go to Bahraich. He boarded a tempo with wife Saira and four children to go to Puranpur.

Where the doctors declared him dead. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma condoled the tragic demise of five YouTubers. The Prime Minister and the Chief Minister expressed deep grief over the loss of five lives in a road accident in Drang’s Dariamari. The CM expressed his condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of 3 injured.
