Jorhat : Hectic preparation om to celebrate Lakshmi puja on Wednesday next at almost all the durga puja venues except five to six who is not going to celebrate, informed Gautam Hazara, the secretary of Jorhat Town Station Puja committee here today.

Altogether seven teams of artisans along with artisans coming from Kochbihar, Kolkata, Maldah started giving finishing touch to Lakshmi idol which was of different size. Moreover the market is witnessed with fruits and puja materials which brings the spirit of festivity after the 5 days long durga puja, said Ajay Nandi, secretary of a puja organizing committee.
