Jorhat : Jorhat marooned with Christmas flavor since early morning as songs of Christmas were sang in all most all the churches wishing Merry Christmas along with the rest of the world as the Christmas Day service was held in almost all the churches with hundreds and hundreds of worshipers coming to offer their special; Christmas prayer and worshiped Lord Jesus on his birthday. In most of the churches, chapels, community places prayers with musical presentation welcoming Jesus and the hymns were sung.

At the Jorhat Parish Church, Lichubari Fr, Edward, Fr Vergese Palathingam and Fr. Regimani led the prayer Joy to the World, the Lord has come, let Earth receive her king, with the arrival of the king everybody from big to small fathers, sisters, brothers after welcoming the King started dancing in the form of merry making with the beats of drum which is the extra source of merry making that’s the way it grips the district with beats of sound, in over 30 venues.
