Kokrajhar : Under the Eminent Speaker Series NTPC Bongaigaon situated at Salakati in Kokrajhar invited Ramon Magsaysay Award Winner  Rajinder Singh to address the employees as well as family members and share his experiences.

Singh who is more popularly known as Water Gandhi spoke about the urgent need for water management for the posterity. It was an eye opening as well as enlightening experience for the audience as Rajendra Singh gave a vivid presentation about the declining rate of ground water and the crisis of the rivers in India. He also spoke about his journey in Rajasthan and the building of Johads to turn barren land into fertile green area.

Chief General Manager NTPC Bongaigaon Chandan Chakraborty felicitated Rajinder Singh and spoke about his contribution as a whole to the society. The program was attended by all senior management, employees, CISF as well as family members of NTPC Bongaigaon
